There's a short lesson in the art of production and the chance to taste freshly harvested 'liquid gold', with plenty of bee-related souvenir options to snap up if you like, before heading back to your resort.

Then, it's on to the distillation room, where you'll get a quick lesson on the power and benefits of herbs and essential oils – remember to breathe in deeply for the full aromatic experience. There's time to relax in the café with an iced herbal tea and a piece of cake before you unleash your creativity at a soap-making workshop. This one is perfect for the kids, so if they're confident to give this a go by themselves, you can take a moment to browse the lavender shop next door. Once your soapy masterpieces are finished, you'll have some free time to get lost in the maze and take another look around the gardens before heading back to your hotel.
