For this early morning journey, leave before dawn (about 1.30am). Meet with your driver and then transfer to the starting point and follow the simple trail to the crater's centre for around two hours, accompanied by your local guide.

Head back down the slope of the volcano and then soak yourself in the natural hot springs filled with mineral-rich waters that bubble up from deep within the earth.
