Els Calderers is located near the village of Sant Joan, right in the heart of the Majorcan countryside. Its history can be traced all the way back to 1285. After a large renovation project, it former glory has been restored and it's now a tranquil space with impressive grounds to while away a few hours.
There's the main building with the museum, and you can also visit the wine cellar, bakery, chapel and barns. You'll also find farm animals, including the famous black pigs, and pretty gardens to wander around. A visit that brings Majorca's past to life.
