Your day starts with a pick-up from your hotel and a direct trip to the famous Corcovado Mountain, home to the famous Christ statue. At the top, you'll get a great view of the whole city of Rio, with the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the northern neighbourhoods, and the famous beaches all around.
After visiting Corcovado, the tour continues with a stop by the Maracanã Stadium (from outside only). This famous venue has seen some of the most memorable moments in football's history, and shows how much Brazil loves the sport. Then, you'll go to the Sambadrome, the centre of the world-famous Rio Carnival, where you'll enjoy a meal at a barbecue restaurant.
The adventure continues with a trip to Sugarloaf Mountain, which is 395 metres above sea level in the middle of Guanabara Bay. You can get to the top by cable car, which has glass walls. The cable car stops at Urca Hill station first. From this viewpoint, you can see all of Rio's coastline, including Copacabana, Botafogo, and Flamengo.
As the day ends, you'll visit the old part of Rio de Janeiro. The most interesting places to visit are the Metropolitan Cathedral, a modernist building that looks very striking, and the famous Selarón Stairs, which are decorated with tiles from all over the world. You'll also pass by the Arcos da Lapa, an iconic aqueduct that represents the city's blend of colonial history and modern urban life. After a full day of enjoying the best the city has to offer, you'll be taken back to your hotel.
