De Kloof van Gaitanes is dé must-see natuurlijke attractie in het binnenland van Malaga. Deze diepe en steile kloof heeft een legendarische wandelroute halverwege zijn steile wanden – de Caminito del Rey – die je aflegt op deze dagtocht.

Na een schilderachtige rit door de natuur stoppen we bij een typisch dorp. Je hebt wat vrije tijd om rond te dwalen in de smalle, met witgekalkte straten. Daarna trek je je wandelschoenen aan voor een wandeling van 8 km over de onlangs heropende Caminito del Rey, oftewel het Koningspad.

Je vertrekt vanuit de met dennenbomen omringde stuwmeren en volgt een spectaculaire route tegen de steile wanden van de kloof. Je gids en plattegrond geven je een inkijkje in de geologie en fascinerende geschiedenis van dit gebied. En aan het eind van de tocht wacht je een welverdiende pauze in El Chorro, waar je de kans krijgt om te lunchen.
