Het complex bestaat uit enkele kenmerken: Mudéjar-pleisterwerk waardoor het paleis opvalt. Het is gelegen in de Joodse wijk Santa Cruz, naast de kathedraal van Sevilla en het Archivo de Indias, midden in de oude wijk. Het heeft prachtige tuinen die gezien moeten worden met bijna 200 botanische soorten. Hieronder vind je de Patio del Crucero, Baños de Doña María de Padilla en de ondergrondse reservoirs die regenwater opvangen.
