Located on Yas Island, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is the world’s largest indoor marine aquarium, spanning almost two-million square feet and holding over 15 million gallons of water. Blending entertainment, education and conservation, you can check out eight ocean-themed realms, home to over 10,000 marine animals. From tropical seas to icy polar habitats, each realm simulates a unique marine environment and offers interactive experiences, like meeting sea lions and otters in Rocky Point, inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Or observing penguins in the Antarctic realm. The vibrant Tropical Ocean realm even features a massive manta-ray-themed rollercoaster.
At the heart of the park is One Ocean, a hub that ties all eight realms together. It features a 360-degree media experience with high-tech visuals and storytelling to show off the beauty of marine ecosystems. There’s also the Animal Care Centre, a state-of-the-art facility staffed by over 100 vets. Through large windows, you can watch health checks and treatments in real-time. You can also visit Explorer HQ to book up-close encounters with walrus, seals, dolphins and more, or even book underwater expeditions and scuba diving.
