Stadion oddany do użytku 14 sierpnia 1996 r., przemianowany w 2018 r. na Johan Cruijff Arena, to najbardziej znany stadion w Holandii. Na jego murawie mecze rozgrywa lokalna drużyna Ajax Amsterdam i reprezentacja Holandii. Jest to także centrum biznesowe, w którym prowadzone są ważne imprezy. Na tym stadionie odbywały się koncerty takich artystów jak Michael Jackson, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Tina Turner, Coldplay, Beyoncé, Rihanna, The Rolling Stones i wielu innych.
Stadion może pomieścić 54 900 widzów i został wybrany na miejsce rozgrywek Euro 2000, które odbyły się w Belgii i Holandii, a także zorganizowano tu finał Ligi Mistrzów UEFA w 1998 roku oraz finał Ligi Europy w 2013 roku.
