The dazzling colours and underwater life of the Great Mayan Reef are waiting for discovery on this snorkel adventure. Choose from morning and afternoon options and you'll soon be gliding through the clear waters heading towards two incredible snorkel sites. Afterwards, make a pit stop at Maroma Beach Club for some well-deserved relaxation and entertainment. The kids can join in the fun too, with optional activities at the Kids Beach Club. The Riviera Maya can be home to adventure, nature and relaxation, and you'll get to sample all three on this morning of activities. First up, you'll head to a private beach for a guided snorkelling session. The coral reef you'll be exploring forms part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second largest reef system in the world, where you can expect to spot tropical fish and possibly even turtles and rays. Next, you'll head to a natural cenote – a kind of sacred underground freshwater pool that's unique to this part of Mexico. Here, you can swim around ancient stone formations or simply relax and soak up the ancestral energy.

Full-day Xplor Dolphinclusive adventure

Your day kicks off bright and early with a trip to Delphinus, where you'll have the opportunity to get in the water in small groups with the dolphins that live in the park. You'll learn all about the animals and play with them. Afterwards, you'll make your way to Xplor Park, where activities like zip-lining, buggy riding and cenote swimming are all on the cards. What's more, your transfers are taken care of, plus lunch and all the admission fees for both places are included.

Full-day Chichen Itza visit with cooking demo and cenote swim

This full-day tour takes you to Chichen Itza, home to the Kukulcan Pyramid – a true Mayan masterpiece and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Here, your guide will share stories that really bring the ancient Mayan world to life. After this, you'll watch a cooking demo of how fresh regional ingredients are used in everyday dishes. After a buffet lunch, you'll cool off at Nool Ha Cenote with swimming or zip-lining, before wrapping up in the pastel-painted town of Valladolid, where you'll stroll its central plaza and browse the craft-filled shops.
