Durante esta excursão, fará uma visita de um dia inteiro ao passado histórico de Argolis. Esta excursão levá-lo-á de Atenas ao Peloponeso, para encontrar um passado glorioso elogiado por Homero. A primeira paragem será no Canal de Corinto, que liga o Golfo de Corinto, no Mar Jónico, ao Golfo Sarónico, no Mar Egeu. Depois de atravessar o canal, chegaremos a Micenas, terra natal do rei Agamémnon, herói da Ilíada que reuniu os exércitos gregos contra Troia. Terá a oportunidade de passear pelos vestígios da próspera cidade que dominou o sul da Grécia durante o final da Idade do Bronze. Faremos uma paragem numa taberna tradicional grega para recuperar energias e seguiremos para a cidade de Nafplio, a primeira capital grega com uma história fascinante desde os tempos pré-históricos até à revolução grega do século XIX. Aí terá um passeio a pé com o nosso guia, onde aprenderá e verá coisas importantes relativas a esta região. Terá algum tempo livre para passear e apreciar os belos recantos do local antes de regressar a Atenas.
