Seville really comes to life during its Spring Fair and this day trip from the Costa de la Luz combines sightseeing with a healthy dose of fun. You'll explore the main sights, including the cathedral and Royal Alcazar palace, munch on some tapas and delight in this world-renowned celebration.

You'll arrive in Seville in the mid-morning and we'll get stuck straight in with a walking tour around the city's top sights, including the Cathedral. The Royal Alcazar palace is also on the agenda, as is a stroll around Santa Cruz, a maze of narrow whitewashed alleys, colourful tiled courtyards and lively bars.

Then it's time to fill up with delicious tapas before some free time to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the renowned Seville Fair. Expect plenty of dancing, parades, colourful costumes, flowing drinks and more.

González Byass bodega tour and sherry tasting

Jerez's best-known product is so much a part of the city's fabric that it is named after it. You can't spend time here without being tempted by a glass of crisp sherry – and there's no better way to learn about the fortified wine than this guided visit to the González Byass bodega.This historic family-run company produces some of Spain's most famous drinks, including Tio Pepe sherry – with the iconic guitar-holding sombreroed bottle logo – and Soberano brandy. You'll learn about the varieties – fino, amontillado, manzanilla and oloroso – and history of the bodega.After an introductory video, you'll explore the bodegas, riding on a mini-train between the production areas and strolling through lanes shaded by vine pergolas. You'll also see the vast vaults in which the wines are aged in oak barrels – keep an eye for those autographed by celebs and the legendary ‘mouse's glass', which is kept for a regular four-legged visitor. The icing on the cake is the tasting at the end of the tour.
