Nurturing the planet, your body and your soul is on the menu with this hands-on experience. Here, you'll learn about sustainable agriculture, roll up your sleeves for some farm work and help make lunch, as well as unwind with some meditation.
Start by getting to know the farm. Your guided tour of the community garden will introduce you to the ethos, which is all about balancing tourism with agriculture. You'll see native plants and crops, and, after a tea break featuring ingredients from the garden, you'll learn about the five principles of regenerative agriculture. Then it's time to get your hands dirty with some planting, making seedling balls and building a compost pile.
Harvest fresh ingredients from the garden and help the chef to make a Balinese vegetarian lunch using tofu, local organic rice and vegetables with flower and herbal infusions. Then, relax and refresh your mind in a guided yogic sleep session. It's an ancient technique to enter deep states of conscious relaxation – healing for the mind and body.
