Start the day by making your way towards Carrickfergus Castle. The castle was built by the Normans in 1177 AD. It remains one of the best-preserved medieval structures in Ireland. You can pay an additional fee on the day of your adventure and explore this castle inside. Next, travel along the coastal road towards Carnlough Harbour. It is an old, picturesque fishing village, more recently famous for featuring in the popular "Game of Thrones" show.
Venture further along the coast road towards Portaneevy viewpoint. At this stop, you can see the famous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge (currently not accessible). The next location is the iconic Dark Hedges, which provides one of the best photo opportunities. Fans of "Game of Thrones" will instantly recognize this as the King's Road from the series.
Drive past the Old Bushmills Distillery and make a stop at Dunluce Castle. Here you'll again have the option to pay an additional fee to explore inside the castle. Finally reach the highlight of the tour: the Giant’s Causeway. The Giant's Causeway has often been described as the 8th wonder of the world, and once you have visited the site, you’ll quickly see why.
