A full-day cruise to the islands of Comino and Gozo is the perfect way to spend a sunny Mediterranean day in Malta. You'll sail first to Gozo, where a shuttle bus will take you to Victoria, the island's capital. Here, you'll have some free time to explore, wander through its streets and capture a few photos. - You can board the I See Malta boat at the Sliema Ferries terminal before 10:00 or at the Bugibba Jetty before 10:40
- Please make sure you are there at least 20 minutes before departure time at the designated boarding points
- As of 19th May 2025, the Government of Malta has introduced new regulations for visitors wishing to set foot on the island of Comino. It is the responsibility of each visitor to secure a Comino access ticket by booking through www.blcomino.comEach guest may book up to four tickets per time slot and must book the AFTERNOON SLOT ONLY (13:30 to 17:30 hrs). Auf der Rückfahrt nach Malta geht es an der Insel St. Paul's - wo der Apostel 60 n. Chr. Schiffbruch erlitt - vorbei und weiter zur St. Julian's Bay. In diesem malerischen Fischerdorf findet am Sonntagmorgen ein großer Markt unten am Wasser statt. Werfen Sie unbedingt einen Blick auf die bunt bemalten "Luzzu"-Boote, die im Hafen schwimmen. Neben fangfrischem Fisch gibt es hier auch Obst und Gemüse aus lokalem Anbau, maltesische Weine, Aufschnitt, Käse und Lederwaren.Danach geht es zu einer der berühmtesten Natursehenswürdigkeiten Maltas - der Blauen Grotte von Wied Iz-Zurrieq. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine 50 m tiefe natürliche Höhle mit einem riesigen Bogen, der sich bis zum Meer erstreckt. Die Grotte hat ihren Namen von dem Licht, das vom Wasser reflektiert wird und eine schillernde blaue Farbe erzeugt. Optional ist eine Bootsfahrt in die Grotte möglich.
