Tromsø, free from light pollution and nestled in the Arctic wilderness, offers the prime location for viewing the Northern Lights. Your Aurora guides will determine the optimal location for your experience, sometimes venturing as far as the Finnish border.

Upon reaching the ideal spot, you'll be equipped with warm thermal suits and boots to ensure comfort in the Arctic conditions. A homemade meal will be served around a cosy campfire. You will also receive guidance on how to use your camera to capture the spectacular Aurora, with the guides taking complimentary photos of you against this natural wonder.

The adventure concludes with a relaxing hot chocolate by the campfire before returning to Tromsø island at a drop-off location of your choice.

If you are staying on Tromsø island, you can choose one of the set drop-off locations
The tour involves some walking (at least 200m), the track conditions could be icy, slippery, uneven, muddy or snowy, please wear appropriate footwear
The temperatures may be extremely cold (sometimes below -30) so please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing and footwear wear
It's highly recommended to travel with insurance

Remember to bring:

Woollen base layer, woollen sweater, down mid-layer and a shell or windproof jacket as the final layer. You also need woollen socks and woollen hats, and gloves/mittens
