If it's a typical Spanish ‘pueblo' that you're after, then Mojacar's your town. You'll cross some pretty Wild West-looking scenery on your way, heading across the Tabernas Desert. And you won't be disappointed when you get there – the town is made of white, sugar-cubed houses that tumble down the rocky hillside. There's also a visit to a coastal fishing village.
Mojacar's a tangle of cobbled streets which are lined with quaint shops and cute cafés and there are plenty of Moorish leftovers to admire including a spring water fountain and flower-filled terraces.
Then take a trip to a typical coastal village. Head over to the beach for a dip or you can wander along the beautiful promenade.
