  • Experience a Thai cooking class and learn about balancing flavours
  • Take home skills to impress friends and family
What to expect

Fresh, quick and tasty, it's no surprise Thai cuisine has conquered the world. Bring back all the skills you need to create a Thai food feast with this cooking class. Under the guidance of expert instructors, you'll select the best ingredients with a local market visit, then learn how to balance traditional Thai flavours by preparing four different dishes.

Start your culinary morning with a visit to a vibrant market, where you'll choose the freshest ingredients for your lesson. Then it's straight to the kitchen, where you'll learn the tricks and techniques alongside seasoned chefs. They'll be on hand to teach you the art of balancing the four main flavours of Thai food – sweet, sour, salty and spicy.

You'll have hands-on experience preparing four distinct dishes of your choice. From the usual suspects like red and green curries, Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup, to the more obscure Som Tum salad, Pandan chicken or Khanom Mo Kaeng – Thailand's own take on an egg custard tart – these valuable recipes will last long after your tan has faded.

Bangkok Canals and Flower Market

Thailand's markets come in all shapes and sizes – and this full-day tour dives right into the action. First up is Ladplee, Thailand's first floating market, and the oldest one around. It's for the history and the hypes, and trust us, it delivers. Picture colourful canoes drifting by, piled high with fresh fruit, snacks, and local goodies – perfect for snapping those Insta-worthy shots. Next, you'll cruise through Bangkok's canals to the lively Damnoen Floating Market, where the energy is just as electric. Then, it's off to Wat Bang Kung, an ancient temple that looks like it's been plucked straight from a movie set, completely enveloped by jungle vines. After a tasty seafood lunch, you'll have time to wave at the cheeky monkeys when you stop by the Mangrove Conservation Centre. And, for the grand finale, we'll hit the Maeklong Railway Market—where stalls are literally set up on the train tracks. Sounds wild, right? Just wait until you see them clear out in the nick of time as the train rolls through, then everything goes right back to business. This is one Thai adventure you won't want to miss.
