Romantic Ronda Historic Fiesta
The rustic whitewashed villages dotted around the Andalusian sierra are some of the most enchanting places to visit in Costa de la Luz, especially when there's a special event happening. Every year, Ronda steps back in time to 1509, and the town is transformed into a stage. See costumed locals dressed up as 'Damas Goyescas,' 'Arrieros' and 'Bandoleros.' This tour takes you deep into the mountains to explore the precariously perched town of Ronda in fiesta mode, and also get to know the village of Grazalema. In Ronda, as well as watching the special events, you'll have free time to browse the markets, visit the Mondragon Palace, the Church of Santa Maria la Mayor or the Palace of St John Bosco, which affords incredible views over the bridge.Soak up its traditional ‘pueblo blanco' charm as you wander along medieval streets and cross the famous bridge 100 metres above the gorge. Afterwards, continue through the valley to the final stop at the village of Grazalema. Completely surrounded by mountains, you'll be in awe of its romantic location and scenery as you enjoy some more free time before returning to your hotel.
