What to expect

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco followed by a twenty minute car trip to the starting point. The trip lasts two and a half hours, and will take you through fields, Andean-style villages and views of sites and Inca ruins.

You will enjoy a wonderful view of the city of Cusco on your way to the Temple of the Moon, where the horses will be left and will embark on the trip by car back to Cusco. Return to the hotel in Cusco. You are not allowed to visit the archaeological sites, while you are riding on horseback.

Meeting point:
You will coordinate your pick-up time and location directly with the local partner. Pick-up is available from hotels located at Cusco historic centre. You must be ready and waiting in the hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
What to remember

Know in advance:

  • For tax reasons, it is important to send copies of all passengers' passports to the local partner after booking. You'll find the contacts details on the voucher after the booking
  • Pick-up is available from hotels located at Cusco historic centre. The tour does not include the pick-up from private residences (Airbnb). If you stay in them, please contact the local operator days prior to the tour, in order to coordinate a meeting point for the pick-up
  • Maximum rider weight: 77 kg (170 pounds)
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult
