Tivoli Gardens was founded in 1843 by the multi-talented and well-traveled, Georg Carstensen. It's the second-oldest amusement park in the world, the most visited theme park in Scandinavia and the third most visited theme park in Europe!
You can choose to explore and enjoy the gardens, restaurants and cafés or try the full Tivoli experience with an unlimited ride pass that gives you access to all the park's thrilling rides. This theme park has something for everyone and for all ages. You can spend the entire day walking around, taking in the sights and enjoying some delicious food at one of the garden's many restaurants.
From the middle of November, Tivoli Gardens will be transformed into a magical Christmas adventure where you can discover snow-covered houses, the Gingerbread Castle and visit Santa Claus in his Christmas room. As you stroll through the Gardens, you can take in the Christmas decorations, enchanting light decorations and Christmas stalls. On New Year's Eve, you can even enjoy a dinner party in one of the many restaurants and ring in the new year with an incredible fireworks display.
