The meeting point is nearby Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace. It will take you a 3-minute walk from Nijojomae and Fuchomae station (Kyoto City Bus), a 5-minute walk from Marutamachi station (Kyoto subway Karasuma Line), a 5-minute walk from Nijojomae station (Kyoto subway Tozai Line) or 10 minutes from Kyoto station by taxi.

- Please come on time to be respectful of the tea ceremony instructor’s time
- If the meeting location changes, you'll be notified separately after the order is confirmed
- The Japanese sweets contain no eggs, nuts, gluten, or animal products
- Please come with long skirt or long trousers. Short pants or skirts are not allowed to avoid damaging the mat in the tearoom
- Please do not wear perfume (including musk and strong scents) to avoid affecting the tearoom, which is made from only natural materials
Remember to bring:
- Socks. Guests cannot participate barefoot. Please wear or bring clean socks, even if your socks are wet from the rain or damp from the heat during the day. Socks are available for purchase (extra of 500 yens)
