The inside story
Mount Rigi, also known as 'The Queen of the Mountains', is located in the heart of Switzerland. The mountain is part of the Scwyzer Alps and is surrounded by three different bodies of water: Lake Zug, Lake Lucerne, and Lake Laurez. It has been a popular tourist attraction for many years as it is only 13 miles from Lucerne and 30 miles from Zurich's city center.
The mountain's main summit, Rigi Kulm, is situated 5,900 ft (1,798 mt) above sea level and is a place that people from all over come to visit. The area offers views of 13 magnificent lakes on a clear day and breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps and other mountain ranges.
