Ravjul (served at dinner only): Maltese dumplings filled with ricotta and served with either tomato sauce or rabbit gravy. They're homemade, hearty, and absolutely scrumptious. Bigilla with galletti: a garlicky broad bean dip served alongside Maltese crackers. It's a must-try local starter. Imqaret: crispy, deep-fried pastries filled with spiced dates. They offer a sweet taste of Malta’s Arabic heritage.
You will also quench your thirst with Kinnie, a bittersweet local soft drink, or savour Cisk, Malta’s refreshing craft beer.
