You'll rendezvous with the local team in the early hours timed to coincide with the winter sunrise, before making your way to the launch site nestled between Arabian Oryx Camp and Desert Nights Camp. As the crew prepares the balloon, you can enjoy morning coffee and light snacks while watching the colourful inflation process take shape, a moment often highlighted by Visit Oman for early morning travellers.
Once airborne, your hot air balloon glides gently above the golden dunes of Sharqiya Sands, reaching heights of around 600 metres. The peaceful desert landscape, shifting sand colours, and complete silence create an unforgettable sense of serenity.
