Stretching 52 miles along New York State Route 28, the Catskill Mountains Scenic Byway winds through the heart of the Catskills. Just two hours from New York City, this route takes you through charming villages with stunning views of mountains, waterways, and farmlands. The byway starts in either Andes or West Hurley and can be driven in either direction. If you're coming from New York City, West Hurley is your likely starting point.
