Let the quiet countryside surround you as the boat takes you down the river learn about the famous landmarks and buildings that Oxford has to offer including Christ Church College and Meadows, the University rowing houses and regatta course, as well as Folly Bridge. Discover the quiet residential suburbs and splendid areas throughout the English countryside, see Quaint Osney Island, well-loved allotments, gardens and the majestic and ancient Port Meadow.
You'll also see spots of inspiration for many of Oxford's favorite novelists such as Godstow; Alice Liddell and Lewis Carroll's favorite destination, as well as the site of Trout Island; inspiration for literary icon C.S. Lewis, and his stories of the land of Narnia.
A delicious picnic will be provided aboard the boat for you to enjoy during the cruise. Typical contents include;

- Homemade scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream

- Served in a traditional picnic basket with napkins, crockery and glasses (to be returned to the crew at the end of the cruise)
