Located between the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde in the 1st arrondissement of the city, this romantic 17th-century garden first opened to the public in 1667 and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. Today, the Jardin des Tuileries is one of the most visited green spaces in the city, seeing thousands of Parisians and tourists alike pass through its tree-lined paths each year.
