You will make your way towards the cliffs of southern Iceland where you will stop at Seljalandfoss, the famous waterfall that travelers can walk behind. Alongside this majestic natural masterpiece, you will see its impressive neighbor, Gljúfrabúi, also known as the hidden waterfall. You will later venture to the gorgeous Icelandic coastline where you will pass Eyjafjallajökull, the volcano that in 2010 caused air traffic chaos in Europe.
You will soon after follow the southern route and arrive at Skógafoss site, a waterfall that measures 60 meters high and 25 meters wide and is one of the biggest in Iceland. Hour next stop will be in Reynisfjara, a black-sand beach that boasts impressive basaltic rock formations and views of the famous trolls that, according to legend, were petrified when caught in the sea at sunrise.
On your final stop to Dyrhólaey, you will witness interesting lava formations as well as large puffin colonies that nest here in the summer months (mid-June to mid-August).
