Visit the fishing village of San Vicente de la Barquera, whose port was and continues to be the heart of the municipality's activity. Walk through its cobbled streets and admire its architectural complex made up of mansions, towers, and palaces, and crowned by the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana, a jewel of Romanesque architecture in Cantabria. As a final touch to this very complete day, you will travel to the Altamira Museum to visit its Neocave - a scale replica of the original cave - declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985. This will allow you to travel back to the early days of the human being.
