What to expect

Get ready to enjoy a full-day tour from Ponta Delgada and discover the landscapes of São Miguel's northeastern area. Accompanied by a tour guide, you'll reach Faial da Terra, where you'll start your hike to Salto do Prego. On your way, you'll visit a hidden village in the mountain called Sanguinho.

After the first part of the tour, you'll stop in the center of Faial da Terra where you'll have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the Old Whalers Harbor. The hiking will continue visiting different viewpoints on the coastline of Nordeste, such as Ponta do Sossego and Vista dos Barcos.

The last stop of the tour will be in the Park of Ribeira dos Caldeirões where you'll admire the landscape and its waterfall before departing to Ponta Delgada.
