What to expect

River Safari, the newest addition to Wildlife Reserves Singapore’s portfolio of award-winning parks, is Asia’s first and only river-themed wildlife park.

Occupying 12 hectares, the park is home to 400 plant species and over 7,500 aquatic and terrestrial animals representing close to 240 species, including one of the world’s largest collections of freshwater animals.

River Safari aims to inspire visitors to appreciate and protect fragile freshwater ecosystems, and is home to threatened species such as the giant panda, manatee, and Mekong giant catfish. These magnificent animals are housed in themed exhibits that mirror iconic rivers of the world from the Mississippi to the Amazon.

Meeting point:

Please ensure that your coach drivers avoid using Coach Bay 3 and 5 at Mandai Wildlife East (Singapore Zoo, Night Safari side) for dropping you off, as these are reserved for Mandai City Express (MCE) and Mandai Khatib Shuttle (MKS) services. To prevent congestion, kindly use other available bays for drop-offs and parking.

What to remember

Know in advance:

Temporary Update (valid 13th February 2025): River Wonders will close at 5:00 PM, with the last admission at 4:00 PM. The Amazon River Quest will close at 4:00 PM. The Giant Panda Forest at 4:15 PM, the Amazonia Encounter at 4:30 PM, Once Upon a River show will proceed as scheduled at 4:30 PM

Daily opening hours are between 10am and 7pm, last admission at 6pm
Free entrance for infants under 3 years
A child is defined as a person between 3 and 12 years of age. A senior is defined as a person at 60 years of age and above
Children who are 1.06m and taller are welcome to embark on Amazon River Quest
Admission is at voucher holder's own risk. The park operator will not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained by the voucher holder while in the park
Voucher holder agrees not to use photographs/ recording in the park for commercial purposes. Photographs/recordings may be taken of any park visitor for any purpose, without prior approval or compensation
In the event of dispute, the park's electronic records shall prevail
