Embark on a comprehensive tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mount Etna. Standing at 3,400 metres, this majestic volcano offers an awe-inspiring spectacle of valleys and slopes, all under the guidance of an experienced tour guide.
The journey begins in Taormina with a brief stopover at the Alcantara Gorges. Here, you have the option to explore the park further by walking along the riverbed (for an additional fee). The adventure continues as you travel by coach to reach Sapienza Refuge, situated at an altitude of 1,900 metres on the southern flank of the volcano. There'll be a stop with the possibility of soft trekking to visit the Silvestri Craters (for an additional fee). Along the way, seize the opportunity to capture some memorable photographs of the scenic landscape.
From there, ascend via cable car up to 2,500 metres and then board a 4x4 off-road vehicle to reach the authorized crater zones at approximately 2,900 metres.
