TK. Shaka Surf Tenerife

Experience a kayaking tour with a difference. Departing from Los Cristianos in southern Tenerife, you'll kayak in the shadow of Mt Guaza volcano. Your guide will point out rare marine flora and fauna that thrive in the volcanic waters while there's a good chance you'll spot bottlenose dolphins. There'll be a snorkel stop, too, where you can explore the sea caves, before paddling back to shore.

Karting Club Tenerife has been revving its engines for over 25 years and is the perfect adrenaline‑filled outing for the whole family. There are karts for little ones, teens and adults, plus a senior and junior track so everyone can race at their own pace. You'll get 12‑minute sessions to rack up as many laps as you like and on the senior track you can even watch your times pop up on the screens and try to beat the fastest score. So buckle up, hit the gas and let your inner Lewis Hamilton take over.

Hop aboard the Peter Pan, a proper pirate-style gulet, for a whale-watching adventure along Tenerife's south coast. Starting from Los Cristianos, you'll have plenty of time to look pilot whales and dolphins from the boat's lower deck levels – bringing you closer to the action at sea level. After keeping an eye out for rays and octopus, too, you'll return to the surface and have a couple of hours of free time at Playa de Las Américas before your hotel transfer.
