On the weekend of June 6th and 7th, 2026, Mathildenhöhe will be hosting its World Heritage Festival. This grand event includes the unveiling of the exhibition "A Step Ahead / Einen Schritt voraus" to commemorate the 125th anniversary of their inaugural exhibition in 1901.
For each day of the festival, you can purchase a combined ticket. This ticket is valid for the entire day and can be used at all participating venues during their operating hours.
Your combined ticket to the World Heritage Festival grants you:
- Entry to the Exhibition Hall featuring the "A Step Ahead / Einen Schritt voraus" exhibit
- Access to the Museum Artists' Colony Darmstadt
- Entrance to the Wedding Tower
- Admission to the Artists' Houses Olbrich, Deiters and Large Glückert House
- A one-day public transport pass (tariff zone: 4000 of the RMV, Darmstadt city area)
In addition, your combined ticket includes a guided tour of the World Heritage Site. The tour around the UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘Mathildenhöhe Darmstadt’ provides an engaging narrative of the entire complex and includes a visit to one of the Artists’ Houses. English tours are available on both Saturday and Sunday, with other guided tours conducted in German.
