The tour starts in Edinburgh, with a stop in Glasgow to collect other passengers if required. You'll then travel to Loch Lomond to visit the conservation village of Luss, before continuing north through Tyndrum and across Rannoch Moor. The route includes time to admire the Glencoe valley, linked to the 1692 MacDonald Clan massacre, followed by a lunch break in the Fort William area. Photo stops are planned at Ben Nevis, Glen Garry and the Five Sisters of Kintail, before arriving in Portree to check in.
On day two, you'll join a full-day tour of the Isle of Skye. You can choose between visiting Dunvegan Castle, with admission not included, or travelling to Uig, with stops at Flora MacDonald's grave and the traditional Black Houses. The day also includes an outside view of Duntulm Castle, photo stops at Kilt Rock and Lealt Falls, and time to see the Old Man of Storr, before returning to Portree.
The final day takes you south, stopping at Eilean Donan Castle, where entry is not included. After lunch and views of Loch Ness in Fort Augustus, you'll cross Laggan and the Grampian Mountains, with a final stop in Pitlochry before returning to Edinburgh.
When booking, you can choose between youth hostels, B&Bs and hotels, depending on your budget. You can also select a tour-only option and arrange accommodation independently.
