You'll discover Johnston Canyon and the highlights of Banff National Park on a full-day guided tour combining a scenic canyon walk, panoramic viewpoints, an optional gondola ride and free time in Banff Town.
At Johnston Canyon, you'll follow catwalks, tunnels and bridges through a forested limestone gorge and admire its rushing waterfalls. Depending on the day's route, access and conditions, Marble Canyon may be visited instead. You'll continue to Bow Falls, where the Bow River rushes over a broad limestone ledge, and stop at Surprise Corner for a classic view of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. You'll admire the distinctive rock pillars at the Hoodoos Viewpoint before enjoying approximately 90 minutes of free time to explore Banff Town's shops, galleries, cafés and restaurants.
For wider mountain views, you can select the Banff Gondola upgrade when booking. You'll ascend Sulphur Mountain to 2,281 metres and enjoy a 360-degree panorama across six mountain ranges and the Bow Valley. If the gondola is unavailable, the stop will be replaced by Mount Norquay Viewpoint and Vermilion Lakes.
