The geological exploration at the Glacier Garden takes you on a journey through time, guiding you past glacier pots and into a new world of rock formations deep within the mountain. Here, the Lucerne sandstone begins to narrate its tale and unveil its mysteries – from its creation on the seashore, to its transformation into the Alpine mountains, its formation during the ice ages and up to the present day, the heart of time. As you ascend back towards daylight via an innovative staircase structure, you're rewarded with a panoramic view over Lucerne and stretching out to the Alps.
The interactive search game "Lily & Börni" offers children and families a fun and engaging way to explore the Glacier Garden.
