Your adventure begins with a scenic flight from Mombasa, offering breathtaking aerial views of Kenya’s landscapes and, on clear days, the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival at the Maasai Mara airstrip, you’ll be met by your experienced driver-guide and begin a game drive en route to Mara Engai Lodge. Set on the edge of the Oloololo Escarpment, the lodge offers sweeping views across the Mara plains, creating a dramatic backdrop for your stay. After check-in and lunch, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive in a specialised 4x4 or 6x6 all-terrain vehicle designed for optimal wildlife viewing. The Maasai Mara is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, and you may encounter lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards and buffalo alongside countless other species across its open landscapes.
