What's better than a day-long safari in the African wilderness? Two days of course, and that's what you can expect from this tour, which includes an overnight stay at the swanky Salt Lick Safari Lodge. On day one, you'll head to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and check into the Safari Resort before heading off on your first game drive.
This place is home to everything from lions and elephants to buffalo and giraffes. In the back of a 4x4 that’s designed to tackle the rugged plains and grasslands, you've got a good chance of seeing some pretty amazing animals in their natural habitat. Afterwards, you'll head back to the resort for lunch, before another game drive in the afternoon. Your dinner's served at the Salt Lick Safari Lodge, your spectacular accommodation for the night. The lodge is set high up on stilts that overlook a waterhole, giving you a great chance of spotting thirsty wildlife coming for a sip from dusk through to dawn.
Day two kicks off with an early morning game drive, where you'll have another chance to see the local wildlife – some of them might even be on the hunt for breakfast. The epic views keep coming, as on a clear day here, you may be able to spot the snow-capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro off in the distance. When you get back from your game drive, you'll sit down for some breakfast, before heading to Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary for your final game drive of the trip. Afterwards, you'll tuck into lunch before starting your journey back to Mombasa.
