Meet at the designated pick-up point and depart from Porto in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus towards Aveiro. During the journey, the guide will share curiosities about the history, culture and importance of this coastal region.
The first stop is Costa Nova, known for its iconic wooden houses painted with colourful stripes. Originally built by fishermen, they have become one of the most photographed coastal scenery in Portugal. Time for a relaxing walk by the beach. You head to Aveiro for one of the highlights of the day: an optional 45-minute ride on a moliceiro boat through the city's canals.
Then, guided walking tour through the historic centre, passing by Art Nouveau buildings, fish market, main canals and Aveiro Cathedral. Free time for lunch, taste the famous ovos moles or explore the city at your own pace. In the afternoon, depart for Válega to visit the impressive Church of Válega, famous for its façade completely covered in tiles. You then head to Miramar to visit the Chapel of Senhor da Pedra, built in the seventeenth century on the rocks by the sea. Time to enjoy the Atlantic landscape and take pictures.
Return to Porto with arrival scheduled at 4:30pm
