You'll visit three spots that show off the region's top archaeological and natural sights by minibus on this exclusive small‑group tour with just 14 guests.After being picked up from your hotel, you'll head to Üzümlü village in the foothills of the Taurus Mountains. This peaceful rural stop gives you a feel for traditional village life before the scenery shifts towards the dramatic landscapes ahead. Your next stop is Tlos, one of the most impressive ancient cities in Lycia. Here, you'll see the iconic cliff‑cut Lycian tombs rising out of the hillside, along with the Ottoman fortress perched at the summit.Half an hour by minibus from there brings you to Gizlikent Şelalesi. A traditional lunch of mezze and casserole is served at a restaurant right by the waterfall, with your group seated at tables tucked among the trees. After you've refuelled, it's on to the final stop: Saklıkent Gorge. You'll have over an hour to explore the base of this 300‑metre‑deep limestone canyon and hear how the gorge shaped ancient Lycian life four thousand years ago. It's around an hour and a half to two hours back on the minibus, returning to your hotel at around 6.00pm.

Tour of Oludeniz Beach, Babadag cable car and ghost town Kayakoy

The area around Fethiye is packed with intriguing sites and areas of outstanding natural beauty. On this full day tour, you'll visit the eerie ghost town of Kayakoy, ride the Babadag cable car and have time to relax and swim at Oludeniz's famous Blue Lagoon. Elif, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘From the top of Mount Babadag, you can see a beautiful stretch of the Turquoise Coast, including the curving beach and lagoon at Oludeniz, which you've just visited. Watch the paragliders gliding down to land near the beach.'You'll start the morning heading straight to Oludeniz. It's a small resort best known for the two-kilometre-long curl of beach that shelters the Blue Lagoon. Basking on the warm sand, your toughest decision is whether to paddle in the bay or the calmer, shallower lagoon. You'll have time to get something to eat during your free time in Oludeniz, if you wish. Next, you'll ride the Babadag cable car for stunning views from the mountaintop, before heading back down to Kayakoy, one of the best-preserved ghost villages in Turkey.Wander silent streets that bristled with life before the population abandoned them over a century ago. Peek into the tiers of roofless houses, see the little school, and visit the basilica – still decorated with old frescos. Elif says, ‘There are close to 1,000 deserted stone houses in Kayakoy, as well as churches and chapels, even a bakery. The Greek villagers who lived here – and called it Leivissi – were forced to flee after WWI, and no one replaced them.'

These ancient temples were carved into the cliffs near the river over 1,000 years ago. You'll trundle along a patch of the river at a relaxed pace. Eventually, you'll pop a U-turn and head back to Dalyan, where you'll have some free time to explore the town. Wander along the waterfront, dip into one of the bars or restaurants for a bite to eat, shop for spice sets, ceramics and more in the different souvenir shops – the choice is yours.
