Why you’ll love this…
  • Embrace the pristine beauty of Krka Waterfalls
  • Sample local wine and take a swim in Skradin
  • See the most magnificent waterfall of all - Skradinski buk
What to expect

Embrace the intact beauty of Krka Waterfalls, the perfect oasis in the middle of Dalmatia. Set off from Split and learn about the audacious history of the area all along the way to Krka National Park. Discover some of the highlights of the region during a guided tour of the waterfalls followed by a scenic boat ride to Skradin, where you'll sample local wine paired with cheese and olive oil.

After skipping the line into the park, you'll be overwhelmed by the sensation that you're exactly where you should be - surrounded by the impossible green and crystal clear blue scenery. While taking all of that in, you'll be guided to the most magnificent waterfall, Skradinski Buk. Swimming in the park is prohibited since it would disrupt the harmony of the ecosystem but you'll have a swim later on.

Next, we'll take a short bus ride to the picturesque town of Skradin on the other side of Krka. Visit Sladić winery and taste local wines guided by a master winemaker. You'll then have an hour more to explore Skradin at your own pace and the finale will be making up for the missed swim in Krka on the beach where the river pours into the Adriatic Sea.

Rafting Cetina River

Amazing landscapes and adrenaline-pumping adventure are the name of the game in this River Cetina rafting excursion. You'll make your way along the Dalmatian coast towards Omis and then climb up the western slopes of the Dinaric Alps to the starting point. The descent ends a few hours later in the lower Cetina gorge. We'll head to Omis – a pretty town at the mouth of a rocky gorge on the River Cetina. From here, we'll drive up into the mountains. On arrival at the launching pad for the descent by raft, you'll be given a quick safety briefing and kitted out with wetsuits, helmets and life vests.Next, you'll take a seat in your raft, ready for a ride through the rugged canyon. Expect fast-moving rapids and calm currents as the raft skims, spins and glides over the foamy water. Your rafting adventure lasts about three hours, before ending at the lower gorge. Trogir and Split
Excursions & day trips

Trogir and Split

Sitting at opposite ends of the Gulf of Kastela, Split and Trogir offer two contrasting visions of the past. Your day begins in Split, a bustling city built inside the walls of Roman emperor Diocletian's Palace. As you wander through its stone corridors and courtyards, you're not simply ticking off ancient ruins - you're moving through a place that still feels very much alive. Film crews once stood exactly where you're standing now, as Split's old town was used as a filming location for “Game of Thrones”. You'll have time to wander at your own pace: stop for lunch, browse small shops, or settle in and watch the world go by. You'll visit two markets and grab a typical snack at Mlinice Pantana, before heading to Trogir. Once in Trogir, you'll notice a calmer, more compact atmosphere on this small island just offshore. Its old town feels almost frozen in time, with narrow streets, elegant squares and medieval architecture. At its centre stands the Cathedral of St. Lawrence, home to the remarkable Radovan Portal. Together, Split and Trogir show two sides of Dalmatia – energetic and unhurried –, and it's that contrast that makes the day stay with you.
